The Scholar futon mattress is a terrific futon mattress that combines polyester, foam and cotton to create one incredible futon cushion that is slightly less firm than the average futon mattress and quite comfortable for a range of body types.
At the core of the Scholar's design is a high density foam layer surrounded by two layers of cotton and polyester blended batting. These two layers gently divide the core from the next two sections of high grade polyester batting which give the Scholar a plushness which is balanced by the cotton batting. The outer shell is made of a large cotton-poly batting that adds loft and little more firmness to help further balance the Scholar giving it a medium feel.
